The Day System: How Difficulty Grows and How to Keep Up

Each in-game day brings five customers, and every new day quietly turns up the heat. Understanding exactly what changes helps you prepare instead of panic.

What gets harder

Two things scale with the day number: the oven needle moves faster, and both the filling target and bake zone get narrower. Orders themselves stay the same difficulty — reading skills that work on day one work forever.

Day 1–2: Learn the stations

The zones are wide and the needle is lazy. Use these days to build habits: read the full order, pulse-pour, count the needle rhythm. Sloppy habits formed here will hurt later.

Day 3–4: Precision time

The zones tighten enough that casual taps start missing. This is where pulse pouring and early tapping become essential rather than optional.

Day 5 and beyond

Zones reach their minimum size and the needle really moves. Veteran tip: on very fast days, plant your finger over the STOP button before the needle even starts approaching the zone — removing hand travel time is worth more than any other trick.

Ending a session

After each day-end summary you can head home. Your best total score is saved in your browser, so tomorrow you can chase your own record.
